Sign up today to enjoy this exhilarating experience. We’ve teamed up with Skydive Zone, a professional skydiving organisation, to provide a nationwide skydiving scheme. The scheme means you can experience the exhilaration of free fall whilst also raising money to support the vital work being funded by YCR.
The costs vary depending on the type of jump you decide to do, however if you pledge to raise the minimum amount of sponsorship then the cost of your jump can be recovered from the sponsorship money.

The different types of jump are:
Tandem – with an instructor
The easiest and most hassle free way to make your first jump. A tandem skydive is done in a dual harness so that you are securely attached to an experienced tandem instructor who will give you a taste of what skydiving is all about. Beacause the instructor takes charge of vital functions such as opening the parachute and landing, your preparation for the jump usually takes just 30 minutes. Weather permitting, you will jump from around 10,00 feet, experiencing 30 seconds of freefall! By far the most popular option.
Static Line Parachute Course (RAPS) – on your own
You leave the aircraft from around 3,200 feet and the canopy is activated automatically by a static line. This is perfect for anyone who wants to jump solo and take the first steps towards jumping regularly.
Accelerated Free Fall – the route to professional skydiving
More expensive than the other options but AFF is actually a course of 8 – 10 jumps which will qualify you as a skydiver in your own right. You will jump from a height of 12,000 feet and experience 40 – 45 seconds of freefall before opening the canopy at 5,000 feet. Two highly qualified instructors, one either side, will guide you in freefall using hand signals.
All necessary training is provided so no previous experience is required, although some age, weight and medical restrictions apply.
This will be the experience of a lifetime and as long as you raise the minimum sponsorship you’ll jump for FREE.
There are 20 parachute centres across the UK. You will be able to choose any when you complete your application form.
