1. Collections from the public
- Church offertories
- Cinema collections
- Collecting boxes - placed in shops, pubs, hotels etc
- Flag days (Street collections) - A permit is needed from your Local Authority
- Football match collections
- House-to-house collections
- Piles of pennies and maxi-sized bottles of coins (placed in pubs and hotel bars)

3. Sales of goods where all profits are given to Yorkshire Cancer Research
YCR Promotions Limited (the trading company of the Charity) offers:
Christmas cards, birthday cards, blank Yorkshire view cards, wrapping paper, calendars, diaries, gifts etc for sale. These are supplied to committees on a sale or return basis.
Various other promotional items, such as Badges, Pens, T-shirts etc are also available to sell or to give away to members of the public who are raising money for the Charity.
